I was looking at Keep America Beautiful's website and discovered that they have a program they've based off of Tools for Change, another CBSM website. They have a program called "Recycle Bowl" and while the report leaves one wanting on details (cost-benefit analysis? Comparison to other programs?) it's interesting to anybody who might want to encourage recycling in schools. Participants in the Recycle Bowl recycled 10% more than non-participants, on average - even those with existing strong programs!

Sure, it increased recycling tonnage during the campaign... but was it a lasting behavior change? Did they evaluate again after 6 months or a year?
