Registration for 2017 Masters CBSM Coaching is available to anyone who has attended my introductory or advanced workshops. This comprehensive community-based social marketing coaching is comprised of four one-on-one webinar/video conference calls with extensive email contact between each call. This structure was created to provide the opportunity to gain direct experience in community-based social marketing through a carefully guided process in which you are individually coached as you develop your own unique CBSM program. Further, this structure allows you to arrange the Masters coaching to coincide with when you are developing a new program. Each of the components, along with pricing, is described below my signature.

Please note that there are only 24 spaces available for masters coaching in 2017 (6 per quarter) and a number of these spots have already been taken. If you would like to register for the masters coaching I would encourage you to contact me in the near future ([email protected]).

Masters Overview

1. First Video Conference Call/Webinar (Behavior Selection): The foundation of community-based social marketing involves carefully selecting which behaviors to target. During the first personal video conference call I provide coaching regarding how to select the behavior to target. Following this call, the participant carries out this research and then reports the results of this research back to me. Note: Low-cost and time-efficient methods for selecting the behavior to target will be covered during this call.

2. Second Video Conference Call/Webinar (Barrier and Benefit Research): Having selected which behavior to target, the second video conference call addresses how to identify the barriers and benefits to a target audience adopting the selected action. Once again, low-cost and time-efficient methods of conducting barrier and benefit research will be covered during the video conference call. Following the call, the participant will conduct this research.

3. Third Video Conference Call/Webinar (Strategy Development): Having determined which behavior to target, and having collected information regarding the barriers and benefits to this action, the third call will focus exclusively on strategy development. During the third call the participant will learn how to develop a behavioral change strategy based upon the research previously conducted. More specifically, the participant will learn which behavior change tools are most appropriate to use given the barriers and benefits that have been identified and how to best utilize these tools given their specific context.

4. Fourth Video Conference Call/Webinar (Pilot Testing): The final video conference call provides the opportunity to review the behavior change strategy as well as receive guidance on how to pilot test this strategy.

Upon completing the fourth step you will receive a certificate noting that you have completed a Masters coaching class in CBSM with me. As noted above, all registrants in the Masters coaching must have previously attended either my introductory or advanced community-based social marketing workshop.

Timing

Each quarter up to six individuals will be coached individually through the above process. Ive limited the number of participants per quarter to allow me to provide the level of assistance that I believe this training requires. Beyond the four video conference calls/webinars each participant is given priority email contact between calls. The expectation is to complete the behavior selection, barrier and benefit research, strategy development and prepare for pilot testing within a three month period. Sign-ups are now available for each of the 2017 quarters (January, April, July, & October).

Costs, Registration and Group Rates

While the introductory and advanced community-based social marketing workshops provide a strong foundation upon which to develop a CBSM initiative, attendees often feel reluctant to launch into designing their first program without further assistance. Given the importance of assisting agencies in beginning to use community-based social marketing, Ive elected to provide the Masters coaching at a substantial reduction to its true cost. The masters class is priced at $2950 US, with this fee due at the time of booking. For agencies that wish to receive coaching for three or more of their programs there is an additional 10% reduction (note that group registrations do not have to occur within the same quarter, but all the registrations need to be made at the same time to obtain the group rate).
